West Heath is a tennis centre dedicated to the development of Junior Tennis. It is accredited by the Lawn Tennis Association as an LTA Performance Centre and an LTA Mini-Tennis Centre. We cater exclusively for children in the age range 5-16. |

The Centre started as a coaching programme established by Hélène Jackson at her own home in 1991. Two courts soon proved insufficient, and Hélène developed her programmes at Edenbridge Golf and Country Club. Then in January 2000 she moved again, this time to West Heath School in Sevenoaks where she established the West Heath Tennis Centre. |

Hélène runs coaching programmes and competitions at West Heath and at a variety of other venues. These include Sevenoaks LTC; the Sennocke Centre at Sevenoaks School; Chiddingstone LTC; and several local schools. |

With 250 children in regular weekly coaching - including over 50 children in the more intensive Performance Programme, designed to develop future County and National players - West Heath plays a significant role in Kent tennis. In 2007 West Heath entered 18 teams in the Junior National Club League and the West Kent League, winning various divisions of the West Kent League and the U14 Boys division of the Junior National Club League. West Heath’s Mini-tennis teams have won gold or silver medals at all levels in Kent competitions during 2006/7. |
